Science
1 – Can I investigate how sound travels? Have a look at the activities posted on Tapestry and write down what you notice in each activity. Watch Why can't we hear it? - KS2 Science - BBC Bitesize. If another person is available, ask them to make a sound outside and investigate what materials a sound can travel through.
2 – Can I investigate how to change the pitch and volume of a sound? If you have an instrument at home, investigate how you can make a high pitch sound and a low pitch sound and a loud sound and a quiet sound. Note down what you notice.
