Head Teacher's Welcome

It gives me great pleasure to introduce myself as the Headteacher of The Cathedral School and welcome you on behalf of our pupils, staff and governors.

As Headteacher, my priority is to ensure that the children are at the heart of every decision we make to ensure that they are happy, safe, confident and able to learn and that the opportunities that are provided for them are relevant to their needs both now and in the future.

There is a strong Christian ethos at The Cathedral School which is driven by our vision statement.  During their time at The Cathedral School, we instil our core Christian Values of Forgiveness, Aspiration, Integrity, Trust and Honesty (FAITH) in our children. Our supportive Christian environment aims to enable all pupils to flourish, grow in confidence, achieve academically and develop spiritually.  We encourage all pupils to embrace new interests and challenges and aim to provide the best possible experiences for all our children.

At The Cathedral School we firmly believe that education is a partnership between home and school.  We want to build strong relationships with our community and value your interest and support.

I hope that this website will give you as much information as possible about our school, the staff and the many activities that our children enjoy through our curriculum and our extra-curricular activities. Of course, it can never replace the first-hand experience of coming to visit us. We are always happy to show new parents and children around our school so if you would like to book an appointment to see us at work, please feel free to contact us.  We look forward to welcoming you!
